Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information NorthGarden (“we,” “us”) collects when you visit northgarden.com or contact us through it, how that information is used, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we can: this website has no user accounts and no customer database.
1. Information we collect
Contact form. When you start a project through our contact form, we receive the details you enter, which may include your name, email address, company, budget range, timeline, and a description of the work. We also record the IP address of the request for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
Analytics. We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic: page views, referrers, country, device type, and browser. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information.
Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (URL, timestamp, IP address, user agent) for security and operational purposes.
2. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Respond to your inquiry and discuss a potential project
- Prevent spam and abuse of the contact form
- Understand how the site is used so we can improve it
- Keep the site secure and reliable
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with data brokers.
3. How contact submissions are handled
Contact form submissions are validated on our server and then delivered to us as an email through Resend, an email delivery provider. The message is stored in our studio mailbox like any other email; we do not keep a separate copy in a database. Rate limiting counters keyed to the request IP address are held briefly in Upstash Redis and expire automatically within one hour.
4. Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to run this site. Each processes data only as needed to provide its service to us:
- Vercel: hosting, edge network, and privacy-friendly analytics
- Resend: delivery of contact form emails
- Upstash: short-lived rate limiting for the contact form
- Sanity: content management and image delivery for our work pages
- Mux: video streaming for our work pages
6. Data retention
We keep inquiry emails for as long as they are useful for discussing or delivering a project, and then as required for our business records. Rate limiting data expires within an hour. Analytics is aggregated and does not identify individuals.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email info@northgarden.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Children
This site is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with the date it was last updated.
10. Contact
